America doesn’t work if we don’t work for moms.

1 in 4

women go back to work two weeks after having a baby.

40%

of parents of young children are in debt because of the cost of child care.

58¢

the average mom is doing ⅔ of the unpaid labor at home while earning just 58 cents for every dollar earned by dads.

The Problem

Gender equality is moving backwards. We continue to treat women in the workforce as a nice to have and not a must have, threatening women’s economic freedom, and the health of our families, businesses, and the broader economy. While other countries have social safety nets, America runs on the unseen, unpaid labor of its moms.
